We offer instruments for both general ground water resource monitoring and contaminated site assessment. Water level meters are a reliable ‘on the spot’ indicator of distance to the water table whilst oil-water interface meters enable field staff to determine the extent of contamination of hydrocarbon-impacted ground water. Long-term water level monitoring is a breeze using our In-Situ combined pressure transducers and data loggers.

IP Dipper Pro Interface Meter

The IP Dipper Pro is an interface meter used to accurately measure the thickness of floating or sinking hydrocarbon products in groundwater. It features a slim 16mm probe and is ideal for wells, piezometers and direct push equipment as narrow as 19mm ID.
The probe and tape will withstand hydrocarbons, solvents and other contaminants. Detects and measures LNAPL (foating) and DNAPL (sinking) hydrocarbons in groundwater. Slim 5/8in. (16mm) field replaceable stainless steel probe. Probe has a non removable 3/4in. (19mm) protector fitted as standard. Able to measure product layer as thin as 1mm.
Easy to read accurate (ASME Standard) Kynar® jacketed tape with stainless steel conductors. Graduation 1mm. Standard tapes are printed beneath the jacketing. The print never wears off.

There is no need to change batteries with our new super low-power system that guarantees long-term operation. Alternatively, the unit can be powered with external power. System integration is a snap with built-in RS-485/232 Modbus, SDI-12, and 4-20mA communications.
The BaroTROLL® is typically used in conjunction with one or more of the non-vented Level TROLL® to compensate for changes in the water level due to barometric fluctuations. Readings from the BaroTROLL® can be automatically subtracted from data from the Level TROLL®.
