Hydrologic tests, such as pumping tests and slug tests, provide information about the aquifer's hydrologic parameters in a groundwater system. This information is essential in dealing with all groundwater issues, such as groundwater availability, safe yield, environmental impacts, dewatering, groundwater contamination and remediation and many other groundwater-related projects.
